| Implementation of On-line Petitions filing system |
Online Petition filing System designed and developed by National informatics Center is implemented on 01.08.2011 by the Collector of Theni district.
All types of petitions are received and Petitions are entered by capturing the petitioner’s information such as petitioner’s details, grievance details and officer who is responsible for giving reply using the on-line system.
The Department will take upon the grievance for redressing. Similarly the Collectorate will follow them regularly till their final disposal using the on-line system. Once the petition is disposed finally, the department will prepare letter of communication through the on-line system and send it to the petitioner concerned.
Petitioner can also view the status of the petition submitted at the collectorate.
The status of the petitions submitted at the collectorate can also be seen by the petitioner by using the petition number through the on-line system by accessing the http://onlinegdp.tn.nic.in .
Petitioners can also submit their petitions through http://onlinegdp.tn.nic.in using internet and action taken thereupon will also be seen by using the petition number.
